Public Search Alpha

MLS property data availability is a complex snake den of organizational politics. Luckily the leadership at CCAR saw the benefit in making the data within the closed MLS platform publicly accessible to all consumers. I had to benefit of spearheading the new public search portal which is currently branded as RealtyRoot. RealtyRoot is still under active development and deployed within a closed Alpha stage. Details on this project are a bit light at the moment.

Member Service Dashboard V2.0

I really enjoyed working my way through the Laravel From Scratch over at Laracasts. Artisan provides several rails like utilities that remove the need to write cumbersome boiler plate code. After taking a quick look at the member service dashboard project specification, It was pretty clear that Laravel would be a great fit. The goal of the Member Service Dashboard was to provide external visibility into several internal processes. A large portion of the application is tracking the current status of our support queue.

ReactJS is certainly interesting to play around with. After completing a few basic tutorial projects, I felt the best way to solidify the lesson was to start on a project of my own. I wanted to produce something useless but unique. The kind of application that would at least elicit a mild amusement from the user. Why not make a silly game? Thus the concept of MoreSQL was born. After a few pen and paper design session, I began planning out the basic program flow and technical goals.
